This illustration is about the ceremony of Hau Dong Gia Chau De Nhat Thuong Thien in the Tam Phu, Tu Phu beliefs,

a distinctive intangible cultural beauty of the North of Vietnam.

The Mother Goddess worship is not only a profound spiritual belief system but also a priceless cultural and artistic treasure of the Vietnamese people. However, in the process of development, the Mother Goddess worship has also faced many changes. The influence of other religions, along with social changes, has changed many characteristics of this belief. The Hau Dong ceremony, which is a solemn ritual, has gradually been commercialized, transformed, and lost its original meaning. In addition to being an artistic creation, Dance Of The Spirits is a celebration of my Vietnam's unique cultural identity. Through this painting, I hope Vietnamese people can be reminded of their cultural origins and help people know more about this art form.
